Hello Friends
Everyone usually complains about Mondays myself included! However this morning I feel renewed.... I feel a new sense of purpose....... I feel a new creative awakening!!! I'm not sure where these NEW feelings are coming from but I hope they stick around lol! I think sometimes we can take ourselves and our lives a bit too seriously. It's easy to do this...... so many people are facing MAJOR issues in their lives right now. (My family included)
I heard on the radio the other day that your life is not influenced so much by your past or circumstances but more by your own expectations of your future. If you expect to be....... out of work, for your business to be slow, to be stuck in a position you hate, to be in a marriage that is crumbling, to not have a meaningful connection with your children, to continue to surround yourself with superficial friendships........ then that is what your life will continue to be. Now I'm not so naive to think we can just wish our way into better circumstances but I do agree that expecting more of ourselves and our lives is a great place to start!
So instead of accepting what is the "now" of your life start expecting more from your "future". Make a list today.... that's what I'm going to do! List all your challenges on the left side..... faith, family, friends, career, finances, dreams..... on the right list, not what is happening now in those areas right now, but what you would expect to happen! (only positive expectations allowed) With so many people in dire situations right now what can this little experiment hurt? It's easy and it's free...... when was the last time something was easy and free in this life lol!
What's on your list? What are you expectations for your life? (settling in negativity is NOT an option) Don't box yourself in..... dreams are free so set your dreams free!!!!!!
